Tutorials on YouTube

Long, detailed tutorials on planning, shooting, editing and grading — from scratch, with every step explained.

Starting next month.

I am on vacation until the end of the month. From next month, tutorials go up on the channel — subscribe and you will get the first one.

What the videos will be

Everything from planning a shoot and the behind-the-scenes work through to the complete editing process. You will be able to learn it from scratch, and I will take the time to explain each step properly.

No one-click LUTs, no shortcuts, no rushed five-minute tutorials. These will be longer, detailed videos — more like the old-school tutorials I used to enjoy watching.

  1. Planning the shoot

Where the idea comes from, what gets scouted, and the decisions made before a camera is out of the bag — the part most tutorials skip entirely.

  2. Behind the scenes

How the frame was actually lit and shot, including what went wrong and what got changed on the day.

  3. The whole edit

Start to finish, in order, with the reasoning out loud. Not a highlight reel of the good bits.

  4. The grade, properly

Every node explained and every control justified. No one-click LUTs and no shortcuts you cannot repeat on your own footage.
